You could also rock something like blast master or mindsweeper for extra explosions - without heavy investment in the endless mags tree, i'd suggest mindsweeper - it procs grenades spawning near enemies with crits, these micro grenades work with pull the holy pin (potentially triggering another grenade thanks to the grenade crit) and vampyr (meaning you can get grenade based healing while going full auto on someone's face)īlast master is a fave of mine, but it's mechanic is "more bonus explosive damage (up to 100%) for not reloading" - if you're burning through clips, this won't work. The only problem with this build - the shield of retribution capstone doesn't work anymore, because you can't lose your shields and still not go down.īut, you've got far greater capacity for taking damage than basically any other vault hunter, her primarily health restoing skill vampyr now works alongside shield restoring effects like force feedback and full can of whoop ass, and phalanx doctrine's max shield bonus is FAR more substantial.

With either the legendary shield that gives the same effect as thin red line (% of health is unhealable, that health is now added to shields) or with the 4th dlc, the plus ultra shield (100% more max hp - helpful for more shield gained via thin red line and whatnot, but also means more healing from vampyr)Īnd also preferably a deathless artifact - reduces health to one, provides double shield capacity and improves the recharge - given healable health's already severely reduced (already at 1 with 5/3 thin red line or 2/3 and the 60% shield), it basically has no penalty for this build but boosts shields dramatically. 3 in thin red line and 2 phalanx doctrine (or 5 in phalanx doctrine works, especially if you decide to not go that deep in favor of a few more skillpoints elsewhere), this com makes any health gains become shield restoration (and also will keep hp at 1, so not only do healing vials drop FAR more frequently, but vampyr will restore 20% of max health to shields with every grenade hit) If you're willing to run 1 hp and specific shield and artifacts, bloodletter com is fucking godly. deep orange, deep blue, you can still get a com that uses skills in another tree and those skills will still work (also, please just say what the skill tree is - had to look it up to give the next bit of info, which i could've skipped if you said explosive/shield) So unless your build damn near requires the skills in a purple com be boosted for some reason, aim for a legendary com that helps your build.Īlso, remember: com boosted skills do NOT need to be purchased. they're far and away better than a general purple com.
Legendary coms have unique traits that can greatly enhance, and even entirely make, a build. Unless your build wants 3 skills on a purple EXTREMELY badly, go for legendary.
